Terms & Conditions

1. General


These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all bookings made with Osman Excursions, for day‑excursions, theatre trips, stately homes, markets, or similar events (“Trips”). By making a booking, you accept these T&Cs in full on behalf of all persons included in your booking.


Osman Excursions acts as organiser and principal in respect of the Trip itinerary and arrangements, but many services (coach transport, venue entry, meals, performances etc.) will be provided by third parties or subcontractors. To the extent such services are provided by third parties, Osman Excursions acts only as agent for, and on behalf of, those providers, except where you have agreed otherwise.


2. Bookings, Confirmation & Payment


A booking is confirmed only when we have received payment in full (or in accordance with
any required deposit) and issued you a Booking Confirmation or Travel Ticket. If a booking is made close to departure (within a period to be set per Trip), full payment must be made immediately.


You must provide accurate and complete details for all persons in your party (name, age, any special requirements/disabilities etc.) at time of booking.


3. Pricing & Changes


All prices are as quoted on our website or in our literature at the time of booking, but are subject to change (for e.g. due to alterations in supplier costs, fuel, taxes) until you receive a Booking Confirmation.


We endeavour to run all Trips in accordance with the published itinerary but reserve the right to amend any excursion (venue, route, times etc.) should circumstances beyond our control require it. We will inform you of any significant changes as soon as possible. Minor changes (such as small alterations to schedule or seating) will not entitle you to a refund.


4. Cancellation by Us


We reserve the right to cancel a Trip due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Where we cancel, we will give as much notice as possible, normally no later than one week before the Trip.


If we cancel, your options are:
- a full refund of monies paid; or
- a credit for an alternative Trip.


We are not liable for additional costs incurred by you arising from cancellation beyond the refund or credit of what you paid.


5. Cancellation / Amendment by You

If you cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email to: osmanexcursions@outlook.com. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:


- Up to 30 calendar days before departure: 20% of total paid 
- Less than 30 calendar days: No refund.


For any pre‑booked items included in the Trip (tickets for shows, admission, meals etc.) that are non‑refundable, we may only be able to refund or provide credit for the part of the cost that is recoverable. If you wish to transfer your booking to another person, you must inform us in advance dependent on the venue ticket and refund policy and we will endeavour to make any necessary changes. We will not be able to sell on the tickets on your behalf if you are unable to attend an excursion/theatre show. You remain responsible for any non‑recoverable costs.


6. Transport, Liability & Insurance


Osman Excursions does not own the vehicle transportation used; some are hired from third‑party coach and vehicle hire operators. The liability and insurance for those vehicles are the responsibility of the coach/vehicle owner/operator, except in cases of negligence by Osman Excursions in the contracting or operating of the Trip.


The coach/vehicle operator’s standard rules apply: seat allocation, driver’s instructions, timings, safety, and conduct. You must follow the driver’s instructions for safety. Osman Excursions and/or the coach/vehicle operator shall not be liable for delays, breakdowns, or changes caused by events beyond their control (e.g. adverse weather, traffic, acts of God, road closures etc.).


Personal property: We (or the coach /vehicle operator) are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal property unless due to negligence by us or our agents.


7. Health, Mobility & Special Requirements


You must inform Osman Excursions at time of booking of any medical/health conditions, mobility issues, or special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate, but acceptance of a booking does not guarantee suitability where disabled access or mobility support is required. A carer/assistant is advised to accompany you.
Where mobility aids or wheelchairs are involved, you should check with us in advance whether these can be carried, any weight/size restrictions, whether assistance is possible etc.


For long Journeys, if you have history of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), recent surgery, or other illness which makes it difficult to travel long journeys, etc., you are advised to consult a medical professional before booking.


8. Conduct


You must behave responsibly and respectfully to other passengers, the driver, venues visited, and obey reasonable instructions. Osman Excursions reserves the right to refuse to allow a person to travel or to continue on the Trip if their conduct is unreasonable or unsafe, in which case no refunds will be given.

No smoking, vaping, or consuming alcohol on board (unless otherwise agreed in advance). Food & drink policies shall follow coach/vehicle operator regulations.


9. Animals


Assistance dogs are welcome, but non‑assistance animals are not permitted unless agreed in advance.


10. Complaints


If you have a complaint during the Trip, please raise it immediately with the driver or Osman Excursions representative so we can try to resolve it on the spot. If you wish to make a formal complaint after the Trip, please do so in writing via email to complaints-osmanexcursions@outlook.com no later than 14 calendar days after the date of travel. We may not be able to respond to late complaints.


11. Liability


Osman Excursions’ liability is limited to those liabilities which it cannot by law exclude. Where services are provided by third parties (e.g. coach/vehicle hire, venue, catering), Osman Excursions’ liability is limited to ensuring we have contracted in good faith; but for those third‑party services the liability is of the provider.


We shall not be liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal property unless due to our direct negligence;
- Loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from events outside our reasonable control;
- Any claim beyond direct losses incurred by you (i.e. we exclude consequential losses as far as the law allows).


12. Privacy, Data & Tickets


We will collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Details are
required for booking, contact, special needs etc. Tickets (e‑tickets or printed travel tickets) may be required to be shown to the driver on boarding. You are responsible for keeping hold of your tickets.


13. Timings & Meeting Points


Departure times, meeting places, drop‑off points will be communicated in advance. It is your responsibility to arrive in good time, at least 10 minutes prior to departure time. If you miss the coach due to your lateness, Osman Excursions cannot be held responsible.


Return times are estimates. Osman Excursions will not be liable for costs incurred by you because of late return (e.g. onward travel) unless due to our negligence.


14. Fees, Surcharges & Special Offers
We reserve the right to impose surcharges (for example for fuel, VAT, entry costs) if costs increase beyond what was anticipated. Where practical, you will be notified in advance. Special offers or discounts may be subject to additional conditions which will be advised at time of offer.

15. Governing Law


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute arising under these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
